JEFF HAUPTMAN
President
As President of the Oxford Company, Jeff is responsible for setting and managing the strategic direction and growth of the company, including oversight of long-term planning, acquisitions, financing, budgeting and leasing functions for the entire Oxford portfolio. Under his leadership, Oxford has grown from a one-person property management company to one of the area’s finest commercial real estate acquisition, construction and management firms.
In his role, Jeff oversees Oxford Property Management, LLC, one of the largest commercial real estate managers in Washtenaw County and Oxford Design/Build (formerly Corporate Interiors Construction), a commercial interior-finish company that provides construction management services. In addition, Jeff serves as managing member to several investment partnership firms (see Investment Performance) with over 140 investors.
A Certified Commercial-Investment Member (CCIM), Licensed Real Estate Broker and Licensed Builder, Jeff also has extensive experience in managing and building property portfolios and in turning around multi-tenant commercial properties. He uses his knowledge of retail, industrial and office leasing to help landlords develop new strategies for attracting quality tenants, and adding millions of dollars in value to client portfolios. These portfolios consistently exceed market occupancy rates and Jeff’s turnaround record with troubled properties is considered exceptional.
Jeff applies his knowledge and experience to the community as well. He has served as Chairman of the Washtenaw Affordable Housing Coalition, the Ann Arbor Art Center (www.annarborartcenter.org), President of the Oxbridge Neighborhood Association and as a Commissioner of the Ann Arbor Building Authority. Jeff is a 2005 recipient of Crain’s Detroit Business 40 under 40 award and a 2004 and 2005 recipient of the Washtenaw County FastTrack Awards. He is also a local member of TEC.
A life-long Ann Arbor resident, Jeff has a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Development from The University of Michigan. He is married to Catherine, and has four children: Charlotte, Jack, Thomas and Gigi.
